Build a tasting flight

Tap any four. We’ll set them on your mat in the order we’d pour them — lightest to heaviest — and you can tap a glass to read its tasting note.

Each note is written by our winemaker at the tasting bench — no scores, just what’s in the glass.

Seated flights run for about 45 minutes on the verandah. Walk-ins are welcome at the bar, but weekends fill up.

      The cellar door

An old hay shed with a long verandah

Our cellar door sits at the top of the gravel drive, looking straight between the two hills and out toward the gulf. Bring the dog, take the good chair and give yourself time — most people stay for a second glass.

      • Step-free path from the car park to the bar
      • Kids welcome — there’s a sandpit under the lemon tree

      Something to go with it

Boards are built to order in the shed kitchen from what’s good in the Vale that week. They’re made to share and pace a tasting, not to replace lunch in town.
