How a course runs

First drive to assessment day.

No classroom marathons. Most of your time is spent behind the wheel on real Dandenong roads, with the theory taught where it happens.

  1. Pre-course drive

An hour in the truck with an instructor. We see where you’re at and tell you honestly how many training days you’ll need.

60 min · $120, taken off your course

  2. Training days

Pre-start checks, gear changes, left turns, reversing to a dock, and coupling for HC and MC — on the routes you’ll be assessed on.

    6:30 am – 2:30 pm · max 3 learners per truck

  3. Assessment day

A warm-up drive, then your practical assessment: pre-start inspection, about an hour on the road, and reversing or coupling tasks.

    Same truck, same instructor · re-sits $260
