What a first lesson looks like
No highways, no surprises. Sixty minutes, in three parts.
Pickup & paperwork
I pick you up from home, school or work, check your learner licence, and we set up the seat, mirrors and wheel together.

Quiet streets
We drive to wide, quiet streets near Mortdale to practise moving off, steering, indicating and stopping smoothly.
35 minutes
Debrief
Parked up, we talk through what went well and what's next. You get written notes in English or Chinese.

Questions
The six things people ask before a first lesson.
Do I need my own car?
No. Lessons are in my dual-control automatic hatchback. If you're learning manual, I'll bring a manual car — just say so when you send a request.
Can you explain things in Mandarin or Cantonese?
Yes. I teach in 普通话, 粤语 or English and often switch between them. Road rules and test terms come with notes in whichever language helps you most.
Can you pick me up from school or work?
Yes — anywhere in the free pickup zone, and from the edge suburbs for a small fee. Check your suburb on the map above.
What's included in the test package?
A 60-minute warm-up lesson right before your driving test, then you sit the test in my car. You book the test yourself; I'll help you choose a time that suits us both.
Do lessons count towards my logbook?
In NSW, structured lessons with a professional instructor can count for extra logbook hours. The rules change from time to time, so check the current guidance for your licence before you plan around it.
What if I need to cancel?
Reschedule for free with 24 hours' notice. Later than that the lesson is charged — unless you're unwell, in which case just text me.
