What we fix
Emergency or not, it’s the same crew and the same fixed-price-first rule. Most jobs are finished on the first visit.
- S-01
Burst & leaking pipes
Find it, isolate it, fix it — copper, PEX and old galvanised lines, in walls, ceilings and under the house.
Typical fix: same visit - S-02
Blocked drains
A camera inspection to see what’s actually down there, then high-pressure jetting to clear roots, wipes and fat.
Typical fix: 1–2 hours - S-03
Hot water
Repairs and replacements for gas, electric, heat pump and solar systems — with an honest repair-or-replace call.
Typical fix: same or next day - S-04
Taps, toilets & cisterns
Dripping taps, running toilets, leaking cisterns and tired mixers — small jobs done properly.
Typical fix: under an hour - S-05
Leak detection
Water bill suddenly doubled? Acoustic and thermal leak-finding before anything gets dug up.
Typical fix: find first, then quote - S-06
Stormwater & roof drainage
Overflowing gutters, blocked downpipes and stormwater lines after a big Hunter storm.
Typical fix: same visit
03 / Fix the leak
Go on — tighten it
A weeping compression nut is one of the most common call-outs we get. Drag the spanner sideways to turn the nut, or use the buttons or arrow keys.
Loose — dripping about four times a second.
Playful estimate: one drip ≈ 0.05 mL. A real weeping joint usually needs a new olive or fitting — overtightening can crack it — so call us rather than reaching for the shifter.

05 / How pricing works
No surprises on the invoice
You pay a call-out fee to get a plumber and a stocked van to your door. After that, nothing happens until you’ve said yes to a fixed price.
Call-out fee
Covers travel and the first 30 minutes on site finding the problem. It costs more at night, on weekends and on public holidays.
Fixed price, then work
Once we know what’s wrong you get one fixed price for the job. Say yes, or just pay the call-out — no pressure, no hard sell.
Itemised invoice
Parts at our listed price, labour as quoted, and photos of the finished work so you know what you paid for.
Sample prices — call-out fees including GST, shown for this concept demo only.

Repair it or replace it?
We service every common type. If it’s worth repairing we’ll say so; if it isn’t, we’ll explain the options side by side.
| System | How it heats | Suits | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gas storage | A gas burner heats a stored tank | Bigger households on mains gas | Pilot light and flue need to stay clear |
| Gas continuous flow | Heats water as it flows | Back-to-back showers, tight spaces | Needs enough gas supply to the unit |
| Electric storage | An element heats a tank, often off-peak | Simple swaps, homes without gas | Off-peak tanks can run short by evening |
| Heat pump | Pulls heat from the air, like a fridge in reverse | Lower running costs | A quiet hum outside; needs airflow |
| Solar | Roof collectors pre-heat the tank | Sunny, north-facing roofs | Boosts with gas or electric on grey days |
General information only — we’ll give advice for your home once we’ve seen the system.
