Custom furniture & joinery · Launceston, Tasmania

    Joint explorer

The joints that hold it together.

Good furniture is held by its joinery, not its screws. Pick a joint and press Assemble — we've made each part from a different timber so you can see how they lock.

Drag the joint to turn it around.

    Good to know

Questions we hear at the bench.

    How long is the wait?

Most commissions start 6–10 weeks after the deposit and take 6–14 weeks to make, depending on size. We'll give you a start date with the quote.

Do you deliver to the mainland?

Yes. We crate larger pieces and book freight; small pieces go by post. Freight is quoted separately.

    Can I visit the workshop?

Please do — by appointment, Tuesday to Saturday. It's a working shop, so closed shoes are a good idea.

How do I look after an oiled finish?

Wipe with a damp cloth, use coasters for hot dishes, and re-oil every year or two. Each piece comes with a care card and a small tin of the oil we used.

The best way to choose a timber is to see it in daylight. Book a time and we'll pull boards for you.
