The classes

Four speeds, from sunrise to lights out

Every class is 45 to 90 minutes, capped at 18 mats, and taught with the windows open when the weather's kind.

Vinyasa

Breath-linked movement that builds warmth. Sequences change weekly so you never go on autopilot.

PaceGood for: energy, strength, busy heads

Hatha

Steady holds and clear alignment cues. The best place to learn the shapes before you flow through them.

PaceGood for: foundations, posture, new students

Yin

Long, floor-based holds of three to five minutes. Quiet, a little intense, and very good for hips.

PaceGood for: flexibility, patience, evenings

Restorative

Fully supported shapes on bolsters and blankets. You mostly lie still. People fall asleep; that's allowed.

PaceGood for: rest, recovery, big weeks

Your first class

What to expect when you walk in

  1. Arrive ten minutes early. The door opens fifteen minutes before class, and the kettle's usually on.

  2. Leave your mat at home. Mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets are all here. Bring water and a layer for the end.

  3. Tell your teacher what's going on. Injuries, pregnancy, a rough week — quietly, before class, is perfect.

  4. Take the easier version. Every pose has one, and resting in child's pose is always allowed.

  5. No mirrors, no phones, no audience. Nobody is watching you — they're all busy breathing.

General information only. Yoga here is a wellbeing practice, not medical advice or treatment. If you have an injury or health condition, check with your GP or physio before you start.
