      What we teach

Four notebooks, one approach: find the gap, fill it properly, then practise until it sticks. Every session follows the NSW syllabus your child is working on at school.

      Years 3–6

      Primary maths

Number sense first: place value, times tables, fractions and the “why” behind the written methods. Plenty of hands-on examples and small wins that add up.

      • Times tables and mental strategies
      • Fractions, decimals and percentages
      • Worded problems, one step at a time

      Years 7–10

      High school maths

Algebra is where many students wobble. We patch the gaps from earlier years so the new topics have something solid to stand on.

      • Algebra, equations and linear graphs
      • Pythagoras and trigonometry
      • Statistics, probability and measurement

      Years 11–12

      Senior maths

Standard, Advanced and Extension 1 courses. Functions, calculus, statistics and exam technique — with full worked solutions set out the way markers like to see them.

      • Differentiation and integration
      • Exponentials, logs and trig functions
      • Past-paper practice under time

      Years 4–6 · test prep

      Selective & scholarship prep

General practice for selective school and scholarship tests: mathematical reasoning, problem solving and working calmly under time. We teach strategies — we can’t promise a place.

      • Patterns, puzzles and reasoning
      • Timed practice sets, reviewed together
      • Estimating and checking habits

      How sessions work

No mystery, no lock-in. Here’s the working out.

      1. A free 30-minute trial

We meet your child in Epping or online, try a few problems together and find exactly where things wobble.

      2. A plan on one page

You get a short written plan: the topics for this term, in order, and how we’ll know it’s working.

      3. Weekly 60-minute sessions

Same tutor each week. Worked examples, lots of questions, and homework of 15 minutes, tops.

      4. A two-line note home

After every session: what we covered and one thing to practise before next time.

      Your tutors

A small team who genuinely like explaining things twice (or five times). Every student keeps the same tutor through the term.

      Anjali R.

      Senior maths · Years 10–12

Calm, organised and very good at turning a scary exam question into three small ones. Takes Advanced and Extension 1.

fave topic: calculus — “it’s just the maths of change”

      Callum O.

      Primary & lower high school

Patient, funny and endlessly inventive with times-tables games. Brilliant with students who’ve decided they’re “just not a maths person”.

      fave topic: fractions (yes, really)

      Lucy T.

      Reasoning & test prep

Loves a good puzzle and teaches students to slow down, read carefully and check their answers before moving on.

fave topic: patterns — “spot the rule, then test it”
