Go on, colour it in.

I’m Juno Marsh. I draw picture books, packaging and murals with thick black lines and bright flat colour. This page is my desk — pick a crayon and fill it in.

Tap a crayon, then tap any shape. Keyboard: Tab to a shape, Enter fills, 1–7 swap crayons, Z undoes.

Work, still wet

Three sample projects, left as line art so you can colour them too. The crayon tray works on every drawing on this page.

Not tired.Not even a bit.

The Wombat Who Wouldn’t Nap

A 32-page bedtime story about a very awake wombat: twelve spreads of chunky line and flat colour, drawn to be read aloud (and slightly too loudly). Pencil roughs, final line art and colour, cover and end papers.

Laneway sunrise

A café laneway wall in Collingwood, outlined in black first so neighbourhood kids could help fill it in on a Saturday paint day. Designed, primed and sealed for outdoors.

How far ahead should I book?

Picture books: four to six months. Packaging and spot drawings: usually two to four weeks. Ask anyway if it’s urgent.

Who owns the artwork?

You get a licence for the agreed use — for example, packaging sold in Australia for three years. Copyright stays with the studio unless we agree on a buy-out.

Do you paint murals outside Melbourne?

Yes, around Victoria and interstate. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately.
