One long table, two industrial machines and one rule: cut once, finish once.
Patterns are drafted flat so they nest on the cloth like a puzzle. Offcuts become pocket bags and hanging loops. Hems are left raw on purpose — they soften into a short fringe over the first few washes, then stop at a line of stitching.
Raw edges are a finish, not a fault. Treat them gently for the first few washes and they settle into a soft fringe.
No. It softens to a 3–5 mm fringe over the first few washes, then stops at a line of stitching set in from every edge. If it ever runs past that line, bring it in and we'll re-stitch it.
Yes — raw hems make it simple. At the atelier we mark and cut to your length while you wait. Sample policy: free on SS27 pieces.
Sample policy for this demo: exchange or refund within 30 days if unworn with the tag on. Faulty items are always covered under Australian Consumer Law.
Cut and sewn at the atelier in Brunswick from end-of-roll and deadstock cloth, so some looks stop when the bolt runs out.
