EMVALUE / WORKING TOGETHER
Privacy policy
How emvalue handles website enquiries, project information and the preferences saved in your browser.
Last updated: 2026-10-02
Online enquiries are processed through Netlify Forms. You can also contact us directly by email.
1. Who this notice is for
This notice applies to the two-person studio working under the emvalue brand. For privacy enquiries, contact emvalue.studio@gmail.com. The actual service provider for paid work is identified in the written project agreement.
2. Information we receive
When you contact us, we receive the information you send: your name, reply email, business details, location, project needs, preferred timing, selected design references, message and any optional alternative contact details. The website enquiry form requires a name and reply email; other fields are optional.
During a project, we may also receive agreed project materials, approvals and billing details. Please do not put passwords, payment card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in an enquiry. We can agree a suitable method if a project needs restricted access or other sensitive material.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, understand scope, prepare quotes, communicate about and deliver agreed work, maintain business records and handle requests or disputes. We do not sell enquiry information or automatically add enquirers to marketing lists.
You may choose not to provide optional details. Without a working reply address, we may be unable to respond; without enough project information, we may need to ask follow-up questions before quoting.
4. Forms, email and service providers
When online submission is enabled, Netlify Forms processes and stores the submitted enquiry and applies spam filtering. Notification emails and direct correspondence are handled through our Gmail inbox. Providers may also process technical data such as IP addresses, request logs and spam signals to deliver and protect their services.
Our hosting provider processes the technical requests needed to serve the website. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces through external requests from your browser. Providers may process data outside Australia, including in the United States; locations depend on their service arrangements. Their own privacy terms also apply to their processing.
Access to enquiries is limited to the team members and providers needed for the relevant task. Other project tools or disclosures will be discussed where relevant. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to handle a legal claim.
5. Browser storage and cookies
This site uses local storage to remember your try-on business name, saved designs and viewing preferences on your device. Typing in the form does not send its contents to us. Saved design references are included if you submit an enquiry or send the prepared email.
We have not added advertising trackers or an analytics service to this site. Local storage is separate from cookies. You can remove these saved preferences through your browser’s site-data settings; clearing them also clears your saved designs. External links and services have their own storage practices.
6. Retention and protection
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including agreed work, business records and legal obligations. We review information we no longer need and delete or de-identify it where appropriate. Provider backup and deletion cycles may affect when all copies are removed.
We use reasonable access controls and account security measures appropriate to a small studio. No internet service can promise absolute security. If you believe information has been sent to the wrong place or exposed, contact us promptly.
7. Access, correction and concerns
Email emvalue.studio@gmail.com to ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable time and explain if we cannot fulfil a request, including where records must be retained.
If a concern remains unresolved, you may seek guidance from the privacy regulator applicable to your circumstances, including Australia’s Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction. This notice does not limit any rights that apply to you under law.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this notice when our services or information practices change. The date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice where a material change or applicable law requires it.
