Websites for small businesses, designed around how you work
We design and build websites for Australian small businesses, in English and Chinese. Basic one-page websites for individuals and sole traders start from A$300; larger sites are quoted to scope in writing. We work mainly online and agree the pages, functions, content responsibilities and delivery milestones before work begins.
A website around your business
- Individuals and sole traders who need one clear page explaining their work, service area and contact options.
- Small businesses needing separate pages for services, prices, photographs, frequently asked questions and an introduction.
- Businesses considering bookings, ordering or a small online shop, with established service connections scoped separately.
The scope
The basic one-page scope
- One scrollable page with up to six content sections. Agree the sections around the information your customers need before design starts.
- Layouts for phones, tablets and computers, so the same business information remains readable at each screen size.
- Contact options: an enquiry form, or phone, email or WeChat buttons, selected around how you want customers to reach you.
- Basic search settings: a page title, description and sharing image. These explain the page without promising a search position.
- Launch on a domain and hosting account in your name. Account access and handover arrangements are agreed with you.
- One round of revisions within the agreed scope. Bring the requested changes together so the review can address them clearly.
Quoted separately
- Domain registration and hosting fees are separate from the website build.
- Copywriting and photography are not included in the basic scope; agree who prepares the text and images.
- A second language is a separate scope, including the matching pages and their content.
- Booking or payment connections are additional work; third-party platform fees are explained beforehand.
- Long-term maintenance is not part of the basic build and needs an agreed arrangement or separate quote.
Multi-page sites, bookings and ordering
A multi-page website can give services, prices, photographs, an about page and contact details their own space. We agree the page list and content before quoting.
We can help connect an established booking, ordering or small-shop service. We first consider the customer journey and your existing service. Setup work, subscriptions and payment-related fees are explained before you decide.
Care after launch
Decide what you will update yourself and what needs our help. The editing approach depends on the agreed platform and the type of changes you expect to make. A website with occasional price updates has different needs from one with changing products.
Ongoing changes and maintenance are covered by an agreed arrangement or quoted separately. The written proposal should make that boundary clear, alongside the accounts and materials handed over at launch.
How we work
- 1
Understand the job
We discuss your business, audience, existing tools, budget and the problem you want to solve.
- 2
Agree the scope
You receive a written proposal covering the work, deliverables, schedule, costs and payment stages.
- 3
Design, build, review
Review layouts and working previews at agreed milestones. We confirm any change in scope before proceeding.
- 4
Launch & hand over
We check the agreed flows, help you launch and hand over accounts and guidance. Ongoing support is agreed with you.
A written scope before a price
- 01
Basic one-page websites for individuals and sole traders start from A$300. Larger websites, apps and business tools are quoted in writing after a short conversation, before any work starts. The basic scope above is the starting point. Extra pages, languages, content preparation and connections change the work involved. We explain deliverables, payment stages and ongoing costs before you commit; changes to scope are confirmed before additional work starts.

Working together across cities
We work online with businesses across Australia and overseas. If you'd prefer to meet in person, we can arrange it in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
Questions before you start
How much is a one-page site, and what is included?
Basic one-page websites for individuals and sole traders start from A$300. This covers up to six sections, responsive layouts, contact options, basic search settings, launch on your accounts and one revision round. The exclusions above are quoted separately.
What should I prepare?
Prepare your business name, services, service area, contact details, text and images. Tell us what is missing. We agree who prepares each item so content work and the website build have a clear boundary.
Can I update it myself?
We discuss the changes you expect before choosing the editing approach. Self-editing depends on the agreed platform and scope. Ask about prices, photographs or services you change regularly; the proposal explains which updates you handle and which need support.
Who owns the domain and website?
The domain and service accounts should be registered in your name. Project-specific design and code ownership, third-party licences and handover conditions are set out in the written agreement before work starts.
Do we need to meet in person?
We work online with businesses across Australia and overseas. If you'd prefer to meet in person, we can arrange it in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth. Project discussions and reviews can take place online. Timing depends on the pages, features and content readiness; milestones are set out in the written proposal.
Tell us what your website needs to do
Share your business, the pages or connections you need and a concept you want to discuss. We clarify the scope and prepare a written proposal.
